20% Project- Week 5

Hello! This week has been very simple. I made two accomplishment that will help me greatly. For starters, I watched videos and developed new strategies on hiding from opponents. In the high ranks, the enemy players are often very skilled so if I can avoid them, I can gain a significant amount of placement points. Secondly, I learned about glitches in the game. Sometimes in Fortnite, players are able to find unfair glitches that can cause them to have a competitive advantage among others. People make videos about the glitches that they found and upload them onto YouTube for content. They are helpful and can help improve your rank. So far this week, I haven’t had any issues or problems. This means that I didn’t need to readjust anything. That is it for this week, thank you for reading and stay tuned in to see how things will go next week.

20% Project- Week Four

Hello! this week has been very decent. Three accomplishments have been made this week that are mainly based off of last weeks goals. For starters, I watched YouTube videos and I have found more content that described how the ranked system works for all of the upcoming ranks. This allows me to know what it takes to make it too the top. Secondly, all of this studying of the Fortnite tips allowed me to step up my game. So now I am able to achieve more goals. Lastly, I found a lot more location where I can easily start off my games uncontested. I had absolutely no struggles this week. I am still increasing my progress in my current rank and can’t wait to start off my next one. Thank you for reading my week four blog. Stay tuned in to find out how next week will go for me.

Rad Reading April

This month I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, Written by Jeff Kinney.  This book is about a thirteen year boy named Greg whose house got destroyed. Him and his family of five had to move into their grandparents basement while their home was getting repaired. Over time they got annoyed with each other and decided that they needed a vacation. They went to a tropical resort and came across a lot of set backs keeping this from being a great trip. I liked this book because it is funny, filled with action, relatable, and overall a great book to read. I recommend reading it. My favorite character is Frank ( The dad ) because he reminds me a lot about my dad. Page 32 states “Seven dollars! That’s way too expensive!” This is a lot like my life. Out of the entire book, my favorite quote is, “The one thing that made this trip great, was when everyone else left.” Page 214. I really liked this quote because it shows that sometimes you just need a vacation from others.

20% Project-Week 3

Hi! this week has been going great. Lots of great accomplishments have been made this week. Firstly, I watched YouTube videos and I have discovered content that described how the ranked system works for all of the ranks. This means that I now know what it takes to make it out of the upcoming ranks. Secondly, my overall Fortnite skill has been improving rapidly. So now I am able to play more aggressively and get more consistent with my eliminations. Lastly, I found a location where I can easily start off my games uncontested. I had absolutely no struggles this week but I was able to recover from last week’s problem. That problem was that my rank was falling behind. I was able to find a teammate to help me dominate in my matches. Thank you for reading this week’s blog. Stay tuned in to find out how next week will go.

The Room of Beauty

The room in my house that is my favorite is my garage. My garage is a giant room on the back of my house that has a couch, T.V with a Play Station 5, white painted walls, a big refrigerator with amazing snacks and beverages, and a fan that keeps me cool. As you could see, there are a lot of reasons why this my favorite room in my house but these are my three main reasons. Firstly, I love this room because of the T.V. As long as I have a T.V to watch movies and play video games, I can stay entertained for a long time. That brings me into reason number two, the Play Station 5. This is a great way to keep myself occupied and interact with friends and family. Reason number three is because the garage is massive. This allows me to be able to practice my soccer skills and ride my skateboard without running Into furniture.

20% Project-Week 2

This week was filled with great accomplishments and a minor con. Firstly, I found myself a lot of great videos and content that helped me develop new strategies and techniques on hiding spots to help me outlast my opponents. Secondly I found YouTube videos that helped me improve my in game movement. This will help me dodge enemy fire and my opponents in general. With these great achievements came one con. That was con was that I am a little bit off target with my rank. This is only minor because I planned my schedule to be flexible. This is an easy adjustment because all that I need to do to get back on track is to play the game more often and apply the new techniques that I have learned. Next week, I plan to watch new and different videos to improve other aspects of my game. Thanks for reading, see you next week.

Tristan The Tarantula

Once upon a time, there was a lonely Tarantula named Tristan. Tristan the Tarantula lived by himself in a lonely village in Scotland. The village was empty and abandoned and Tristan was the only living soul within 1000 miles. Since Tristan first hatched from his egg, he has always been idolizing Spider-Man and always wanted to meet him in person. One day, while he was kissing his Spider-Man poster, he heard on the news that Spider-Man was visiting his city. He got so excited that he ran outside and screamed at the top of his lungs. Spider-Man heard the scream and came running over to help Tristan out. The moment he layed his eyes on Spider-Man, he fainted.

The End

20% Project-Week One

Hello, my name is Joey and I am reaching Unreal (the highest rank) in Fortnite for my 20% project. This week has been great. So far I have been watching videos on how to improve my aim accuracy for once I reach the higher ranks and developing new strategies on movement. So far, I don’t have any struggles this week but I am going to test out my new techniques and see how it works out for me. If it does not work out well, then I will try to find new YouTube videos to help. Week one has been a walk in the park so therefore, no adjustments were necessary. Next week, I am going to try to focus on my landing spots for in the game and trying to be smart about when and how I will out last my opponents.

The Feast of Kings

If I were to invite any three people to dinner, I would include these people in the feast. Firstly, I would invite The Kool-aid Man. This would be my first option because he could supply all of the refreshing beverages. Secondly, I would like to add Humpty Dumpty who is a giant egg. I’d invite him to the dinner because I love scrambled eggs and it would be great if he could bring them. Lastly, I would include Gordon Ramsey. I would love to invite him because he is an amazing chef and he can cook for the entire party. After we have all this great food, I would kick them from the party and eat all the food myself.

Rad Reading February

This month I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. This book is about a boy named Greg who goes to middle school. The town threatened to shut down the school due to poor test scores. Greg realizes that he will be sent to a different school than his best friend and tries to change the outcome. I liked this book because it is relatable and action packed. This book is also funny. I recommend reading it. My favorite character is Greg. This is because he is trustworthy. PG 57 states, “…but I wasn’t gonna snitch on Marty.” This shows that you can trust him not to let you down. My favorite quote from the book is “I don’t know if I should be proud of knowing how to tell time.” PG 201 I really like this quote because it is funny and odd.
